Purpose: to improve the method of evaluation of soybean breeding material for stability and plasticity by the manifestation of macro-traits and the creation of high-yielding early and medium-ripe varieties resistant to abiotic factors. Research methods: field and laboratory, production testing, statistical analysis. The main results of research: during the reporting period, soybean breeding nurseries of all levels were formed and sown. The hybrid nursery has 30 plots, 8 true hybrids have been identified on the basis of markers. The morphological features of hybrids and their parental forms are described. Competitive nursery consists of three series of maturity: ultra-early, early and medium-ripe soybean numbers. Each has 15 numbers tested together with the standards. In the preliminary variety test, 15 numbers in each maturity group are also tested. 300 soybean numbers of different maturity groups are tested in the control nursery. There are 6,200 numbers in the selection nursery and 200 soybean numbers in the collection nursery. Preliminary reproduction of 6 promising soybean numbers is underway, including three precocious and three medium-ripe groups of ripeness. According to the preliminary evaluation, the best cultivars were selected in the competitive variety test among the ultra-early ones - №715-13, №777-19; precocious - №541-19; middle-aged - № 244-18, №602-19.
