Due to the peculiarities of the physical conditions on the surface of the Moon, theoretical calculations and experimental studies have been carried out on the influence of these features on the stress state of welded joints. The technical task for creation of the working project of a complex of the equipment of electron-beam welding in open space is developed. With the help of technical documentation, a prototype of a power supply for electron-beam welding in space was made. A specialized manipulator with 5 degrees of freedom has been created, which provides the necessary parameters of the electron beam when working in automatic mode.
