The purpose of the research work was to study the influence of dimensional effects, chemical variation and phase composition, intrinsic defects and impurities, external factors on the functional characteristics of the studied compounds. The research methods were synthesis of single crystals, nanocomposites based on synthetic opals, glass, glass-ceramics and ceramics of complex oxide compounds of active dielectrics, DSC, DTA, X-ray diffraction, dielectric, impedance, optical and radiospectroscopy methods. Lithium germanate compounds were synthesized in different phase states, which made it possible to study the processes of charge transfer at the atomic level. The dependence of the physical parameters of the samples on the structure, relative volume of the available phases, size, geometry and the nature of the spatial distribution of homogeneous regions is analyzed. The influence of composition and impurities on photochromic and photodielectric effects in PbMoO4 single crystals has been studied. The quality and size of acousto-optical paratelurite crystals were improved by varying the technological conditions of processing and synthesis of the charge. The electrical properties of sodium bismuth titanate crystals have been studied over a wide range of temperatures and fields. The influence of the nanocrystalline environment on the luminescence spectra of rare earth ions in opal pores was studied, and compounds of active dielectrics were additionally introduced.
