The aim of the work is to create a biochemical screening test system to determine the state of the blood-brain barrier to determine the quantitative signs of post-traumatic syndrome of various genesis, correlation justification of changes in neurospecific proteins in serum and cerebrospinal fluid depending on changes in GEB permeability. The paper uses generally accepted modern methods of biochemistry, immunochemistry, histochemistry and physiology, statistical data processing. According to the results of research, the distribution of glial and neuron-specific proteins in different parts of the brain of experimental animals and blood serum under conditions of post-traumatic syndrome of various etiologies was determined. Experimental models of brain damage determined the state of the blood-brain barrier due to astrocyte- and neuron-specific proteins and a complex of biochemical markers of carbonyl oxidative stress, glycation end products, ischemically modified albumin and matrix proteases in different parts of the blood and brain. The analysis of astroglial cell response and neuronal adhesion under conditions of intracranial hemorrhage was performed. The results obtained from the research will contribute to the further development of scientific positions in neurochemistry, neurophysiology, clinical diagnosis and medicine. The obtained research results are implemented in the educational process of DNU Faculty of Biology and Ecology by the decision of the Academic Council of BEF in the disciplines "Medical Pathochemistry", "Neuroimmunology", "Neurochemistry", "Molecular mechanisms of intercellular communication" in training students majoring Biology and Biology.
