The aim of the work is to reduce the negative impact on the soil of the propulsion of wheeled power machines and reduce operating costs during field work. research methods. Methods of theoretical and analytical mechanics, mechanics of solid media, in particular, methods of the theory of elasticity, methods of mathematical analysis were used in theoretical research. Both standard research methods in the field of agricultural mechanization and original methods developed by the author were used in the experimental research. Methods of electrical measurements of non-electric quantities have found wide application. In the analysis of the results of theoretical and experimental research, applied computer packages such as Mathematica, Statistica, etc. were widely used. According to the results of the GDR, the prerequisites for the analytical determination of the coefficient of friction of the deformable body on the deformable surface are obtained. The obtained dependences for determining the contact zones of the deformed wheel with the deformed soil and the dependences of the landslides of the contacting surfaces connecting the loads applied to the wheel taking into account the deformation properties of the wheel and soil, as well as the geometric parameters of the wheel can improve various tillage processes. The practical significance of the obtained results is to substantiate the dependences that increase the efficiency of the active deformable wheel when rolling on the deformable surface, reduce the sealing effect of running systems on the ground, reduce the rolling resistance of passive deformable wheels on the deformable base.
