The aim of the study is to improve the quality of products, save material, energy and labor resources based on the development of methods for calculating and designing rolling stamping processes, taking into account the mechanics of shaping complex-shaped products. The development and study of technological schemes of upsetting, direct and reverse extrusion by rolling stamping was carried out, as a result of which it was proved that this process makes it possible to obtain high-quality complex-shaped blanks. Based on the results of the research, the ways of deformation of metal particles were constructed in the coordinates of the intensity of deformation - an indicator of the stress state, which were used in assessing the deformation of the workpiece material. A calculation apparatus has been developed to control the roll inclination angle and the relative position of the roll and workpiece by active friction forces at the contact of the roll with the workpiece, which helps to expand technological capabilities and improve processing accuracy.
