This reduces the time for preparation for the production of sleeves by 1.5-2 times. In comparison with domestic and foreign analogues of technology of manufacturing of preparation of sleeves of small caliber by stamping operations the offered technology allows to reduce in 2 times quantity of transitions of drawing with thinning and transitions of compression. At the same time the quantity of annealing of semi-finished products between stamping transitions decreases by 2 times. Accordingly, the productivity of sleeve blanks is significantly increased and their cost is significantly reduced. There is no domestic production of large and medium caliber shell casings. In comparison with the foreign analogue, the proposed technology of obtaining sleeves provides replacement of rotary unrolling operations by drawing with thinning, which practically increases the productivity of production by 2 times and reduce the cost of brass on one sleeve by 40%. This eliminates heat treatment to obtain the desired mechanical properties along the height of the wall and the bottom. The developed sequence of transitions of low-carbon steel caliber medium caliber allows to reduce by 2 times the number of drawing operations with thinning and crimping, reduce metal consumption by 10-15% in the manufacture of one sleeve and eliminate heat treatment to ensure mechanical properties at wall and bottom height. As a result, the productivity of the sleeve blank increases and its cost decreases.
