The topic aims to master the latest principles of retransmission and interpretation of humanitarian knowledge and to introduce interdisciplinary approaches in the research and educational practices. The interdisciplinary basis of the topic involves deepening and development of the methodological tools and their application in the research projects. The chosen topic is consistent with modern scientific approaches, which are focused on understanding a wide range of problems and establishing systemic links between phenomena and processes of objective reality. In the information dimension, the topic involves the study of sources and resources of different origins, forms the ability to critically analyze them and thus contributes to the development of the information security as an important factor in intellectual experience and the need to test the received results. The topic also contributes to the development of the ability of cultural and aesthetic communication with the texts of Ukrainian and world literature through of their semantic and axiological dimensions, actualization of meanings and formation of readers’ tastes and cultural priorities. As part of the topic, the department employees worked on the analysis of transformations of memory models in Ukrainian literature, development of receptive models, description of strategies for the formation and functioning of the literary canon, and studied texts of the Ukrainian literature in postcolonial and feminist perspectives. This direction of the research contributes to the integration of the Ukrainian literature in the European and world scientific and educational space.
