Estimation of earthquake intensity in local and regional areas currently has some complications due to the fact that the value of earthquake intensity estimated using the existing methodology differs from the value of the intensity of macroseismic observations for earthquakes of the XXI century in Ukraine and neighboring countries. At the moment, the issue of clarifying the constant coefficients of the macroseismic field equation from the Vrancea Mountains (Romania), the Ukrainian Carpathians, Transcarpathia, and the Eastern European Platform is relevant. To determine the intensity of earthquakes, the approaches of the main seismological services to determine the intensity are analyzed. Based on the obtained data, additions were made to the existing software and mathematical software on the workstation of the to calculate the intensity of earthquakes in the areas of responsibility.
