The experimental methods of quasi-optic ellipsometry and reflectometry in the terahertz range are developed. The optical properties of solid bodies, semiconductors, and multilayer samples are determined. The mathematical and numerical simulation of reflectors, open resonators, and gates that are used in terahertz and shorter waves technologies and have a size comparable to the wavelength in the open space or dielectric medium with the presence of elements from graphene or non-ideal materials is performed. The numerical simulation of reflection and absorption of electromagnetic waves by solid wires and tubes from noble or color metals having a radius in the range from several nanometers to several micrometers was performed. The spectral-luminescent and generation parameters of liquid active mediums containing laser-active dye molecules and sulfur nanoparticles, solid polyurethane, or annealed silica matrices activated with dyes of different classes or their mixtures are experimentally studied. The version of computer simulation system for astronomical image modeling with using of graphical processing units is developed. The efficient application limits for the total phase accumulation technique are determined. The errors of the improved photoclinometry method are compared for its implementation with the Fourier transform or the finite differences method.
