Aim of the research is to determine a role and correlation of phylogenetic and anthropogenic factors in the process of historical formation of regional floras and faunas in Ukraine and to evaluate an impact of anthropochorous species on the general parameters of biodiversity. The tasks of current research were conducted using integrative analysis of morphological and genetic structure of organisms and methods of cladistic, genophyletic, quantitative, statistic and system analysis. Programs of research are created according to separate scientific areas. Comparative analysis of available information on the study of model groups of regional floras and faunas in Ukraine is conducted. Scientific hypotheses about historical formation of Ukrainian regional biotas are critically analyzed. Museum collections are studied and new taxa of Nematoda and Ephemeroptera are described.
