The aim of scientific research is to develop and implement a modern biodiversity of Ukraine accounting system integrated with collections and information resources for monitoring the state of the environment and assessment of transformation of natural biosystems. Electronic biodiversity of Ukraine accounting system integrated with web resource Data Centre “Biodiversity of Ukraine” which combines information from the fund collections of the SMNH NASU with other types of data: museums, institutes, universities, reserves and private collections, literature data, human observations, photos according unified international standards and makes it more accessible for operational scientific research and for a wide range of users have been developed. Integrating scientific data into a single information resource DCBU allows aggregation of species/taxa distribution data as in separate physicalgeographic regions, as in administrative territorial units or nature reserves and analyse changes in flora and fauna in time and space. Information resource Data Centre “Biodiversity of Ukraine” software can be used for scientific and work with collections in other museums. Developed and approved by decision of FPC SMNH NFS of Ukraine and by decision of Scientific Commision of SMNH NAS of Ukraine “Instruction on electronic inventory of museum objects of State Museum of Natural History NAS of Ukraine”. Use of QR-codes to museum and exibition activity of SMNH NAS of Ukraine were introduced. Carried out the approbation of possibilities of modern information and analytical accounting of biodiversity of Ukraine techniques for monitoring the state of the environment and assessment of transformation of the environment of model territories of western region of Ukraine.
