Results and their novelty: The scientific novelty of the study is next: in the study for the first time were considered the following: conceptual approaches to understanding the essence and defining features; a systematic analysis of the heuristic value of cultural-normative and cultural-anthropological concepts; it is proved that the specifics of the study of legal culture; the classification of key features of legal culture is offered, which substantiates the dominance of the socio-cultural context over the actual legal content of legal norms; axiological deformations of the legal culture of modern Ukrainian youth and its consequences are revealed and revealed, which in the most generalized form are manifested in the devaluation of lawful behavior as a universal model; it is established that the main subject of legal culture of Ukrainian youth in the conditions of formation of the rule of law is the legal individuality.
