Proposals have been developed to improve the regulatory and legal support of spatial planning of rural development, which should be based on the development of strategic directions for planning the development of territorial communities, criteria and principles of land zoning. There is a need to develop regulatory and legal support for zoning of agricultural areas, the share of which is almost 70% of the territory of Ukraine. Proposals to the classifier of types of functional purpose of territories provided by the Land Code of Ukraine and the Law of Ukraine "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine on Land Use Planning" have been developed.
