The filling, processing, display, use of data of the State Land Cadastre in accordance with the objectives of land management and land management have been studied; the process of correcting errors of the State Land Cadastre. The State Land Cadastre was considered as the only state geographic information system of information about lands located within the state border of Ukraine, their purpose, restrictions on their use, as well as data on quantitative and qualitative characteristics of lands, their evaluation, distribution of land between owners and users. It is established that geospatial information is currently available in the land cadastre only for half of the state land plots. The other two-thirds will appear in the land cadastre as cadastral surveys are conducted to fix the actual boundaries of these plots in kind (on the ground). Despite the fact that the basis for geodetic delimitation of land plots, registration of their spatial and legal characteristics of land plots should theoretically be land management documentation, the data of which are official and acquire legal significance due to approval by law, the characteristics of land plots are often determined by them actual condition. It is proposed to improve the system of land cadastre in Ukraine in priority areas that will ensure the relevance, reliability and completeness of data.
