The subject of the research is a set of theoretical, methodological and applied principles of monetary policy implementation in the context of solving problems of national economy development and observance of national interests in the process of confronting globalization challenges. The aim of the research is to improve the theoretical, methodological and practical principles of stimulating the development of Ukraine's economy in the context of globalization of economic processes, developing the main directions of effective functioning of banks at both macroeconomic and microeconomic levels, strengthening the role of monetary policy in socio-economic development. The theoretical and methodological basis of this work were the fundamental provisions of foreign and domestic theory of banking. To achieve the defined goal of research work, depending on the complexity of scientific tasks, a set of general scientific methods was used: analysis and generalization, classification, evaluation, systematic and comparative analysis.
