The current state of sites, in particular, in the historic part of the city were documented. The result is a publishing of the "Archaeological Atlas of Ancient Kyiv" - the first popular science analytical publication that contains relevant information about the location, condition, development of archaeological sites that were part of medieval Kyiv and created its historical development. Such information is also a source for the protection of archeological sites in modern Kyiv. The relevance of this study is also confirmed by the intentions of the Kyiv City Council to cooperate with specialists of the Department of Archeology of Kyiv in view of the formation of a historical and architectural plan for the development of the city (2020-2025).
