In particular, two of its dimensions were identified and evaluated: 1) the prevalence of certain conflict topics in society; 2) negative psychological effects that are recorded for people involved in interpersonal conflicts. These dimensions are detailed using empirical data for a number of large cities in the South and East of Ukraine. The general attitude towards the state as a background of perceived national resilience is studied. Some parameters of such an attitude among the population of large cities of the South and East of Ukraine, their resultant effect, connection with respondents' geopolitical positions, their electoral preferences, religious beliefs, attitude to Ukrainian citizenship, readiness to defend Ukraine from outside attacks, and such demographic indicators are highlighted. The perceived national resilience of Ukraine in the context of assessing social threats is considered. With the help of questions about the adequacy of material resources, professionalism, motivation to solve problems, as well as communication skills of the city authorities on each of the threats, different categories of perceived national resilience indices were calculated for a number of large cities in South and East Ukraine: indices for each of the components of national resilience, as well as the final index.
