The proposed TAC are effective not only in transient modes, but also in steady-state networks, where they are able to compensate for a wide range of reactive power in the network, have better transience of transient, economic and mass-size indicators. The program of researches of transient currents in rectified current circuits of different TAC s for definition of optimum value of constant times of these circuits is developed. The program of calculations of electromagnetic transients in the circuit of TAC with filters of higher harmonics is developed, which allows to optimize the parameters of these filters in order to minimize their power provided that the proper value of the coefficient at the input of TAC. The application of the developed circuit-technical solutions of TAC will allow to reduce starting currents in the electric network and to increase the service life of the electric network equipment.
