Research proved the fact that taxonomic differences of many characters in frogs are realized at one year old specimens, the sexual differences - in semi-adult specimens, but of all characters - in adults only. Among three studied forms of group variability in frogs the most pronounced are age and taxonomic forms, while the least pronounced is sexual variability. After puberty, frogs continue to grow. New places of development of rare species of Odonata of Ukraine have been identified. A new genus and species of Odonata from Rivne amber is described. Eurylophella karelica was registered within Ukraine for the first time. The Hyrtanellini tribe of India and the Cincticostella nigra complex of India and Nepal were revised: seven new species were described; three other species were first recorded for India. A new species of Indoganodes from Sri Lanka was described. A new genus and two new species of mayflies from the family Vietnamellidae were described from Burmese amber. New data on faunal and taxonomic changes in marine and freshwater ichthyocenes of Ukrainian reservoirs have been obtained. The penetration of alien fish species is currently a growing invasive process. Overall, 31 alien species have been found in Crimean waters since the 1970s. Over the last 50 years, 6 species have disappeared in the sea waters of Ukraine. The fauna of bull fish of the four main river basins of the North-Western Black Sea coast consists of 20 species belonging to 12 genera. Only 12 species of bulls are freshwater fish.
