Possibilities of using the collections to popularize the scientific worldview for the target audiences of the museum and all stakeholders are considered. A strategy of scientific and educational interpretation of natural history collections based on the analysis of world experience has been developed. Approaches to establishing the exposition potential of the collection are determined. A source database of natural and museum objects from the funds of modern biota of the DPM of the NAS of Ukraine, which have expositional and educational value and can be used to create an exhibition "Dynamic World of the Live". The screen-play of the exhibition "Dynamic World of the Live" has been developed, the main idea of which is the interpretation of the collection of modern biota of the DPM NAS of Ukraine, which includes thematic exposition structure, thematic exposition plan and preliminary graphic design of the exposition. The strategy of interpretation of natural collections formed the basis for the development of interdisciplinary sections of the exhibition, participatory educational museum programs and interactive exhibition elements, etc. The strategy of scientific and educational interpretation of natural collections of the State Natural History Museum of the NAS of Ukraine will allow to make full use of the museum's scientific collections to promote biodiversity and natural heritage conservation, formation of scientific worldview in target audiences. The published research results can be used by other museums, in the collections of which there are natural collections, as well as visit-centers of nature reserves of Ukraine.
