Subject of research – systematization of knowledge on basic information of unmanned multi-rotor systems payload and their use in performing tasks in the system of the SES of Ukraine. The aim of the work is improving the efficiency of unmanned multi-rotor systems in the activities of the Civil Defense Service. As a result of part of the scientific research work «Selection of unmanned multi-rotor systems types and their payload during use in the activities of the Civil Defense Service» performed the analysis of UAV classification features and their technical capabilities, which allowed to establish the basic requirements for unmanned systems, that can be used as the main in the units of the SES of Ukraine The use of various payloads can significantly expand the range of performed tasks, and comparative analysis of the UAV's payload allowed to formulate requirements for the takeoff mass and power of the multi-rotor UAV propulsion system. Based on the analysis of tactical and technical characteristics of UAVs used in SES units, have been formulated a number of features to determine an effective universal multi-rotor UAV to perform tasks in the field of civil protection.
