The study is based on the methodological principles of social culturology, which involves the consideration of artworks as individual realization cases of cultural forms. The project contains the theoretical concept of integration of Ukrainians as a socio-cultural process. This concept shifts the focus in the interpretations of traditional and artistic practices as components of ethnic culture to the analysis of the ways of regulating the interaction of Ukrainians in their communities for integration. The concept is specified in a number of conceptual positions, built from an interdisciplinary perspective in a number of conceptual dimensions. The study presents visual artifacts that carry a certain social message and, therefore, aim the community to join forces in response to the challenges of existence and the strengthening of national identity. It is the first work of a generalizing nature, which reveals the peculiarities of socio-artistic initiatives implementation in the Ukrainian context. The results of this theme have a lot of considerable theoretical and practical importance: the new explanatory conception optimizes the evaluation of the integration potential of traditional and artistic practices in the process of integration.
