It is proved that the innovative activity of agricultural enterprises needs appropriate marketing support. It is revealed that for activization of innovative development of agrarian enterprises it is expedient: to improve normative-legal regulation of innovative activity; carry out technical and technological re-equipment; to develop a better mechanism for stimulating innovation activity; develop appropriate innovation infrastructure; to form qualitatively new systems of marketing, organizational and economic, information and consulting, educational support of agricultural producers; as well as to introduce modern information and communication technologies and use digital marketing tools. It is investigated that in the market conditions the level of competitiveness and financial stability of the agricultural enterprise depends on the innovation strategy. Innovation strategy is part of the enterprise development strategy and can be aimed at the effective use and increase of enterprise potential and is often seen as an appropriate response to changes in the macroenvironment. It is determined that the choice of strategy is related to the development of R&D plans and other forms of innovation. The innovation strategy must anticipate a variety of developments and adequately respond to external and internal threats. Therefore, today the problem of choosing the optimal innovation strategy is relevant for domestic agricultural enterprises, as in connection with the development of scientific and technological progress, the market economy is becoming more innovative.
