Aim of the work is to study the world experience, technological schemes for drying the charge using the heat of the combustion products of coke oven gas and the technical and economic assessment of the technology. Research method - there is considered the option of coal blend drying in drum dryers, determination of dimensional space-planning solutions for drying sections building for the preset capacity based on initial wet material, definition of economic indicators of cost of drying installations - weight of equipment, hours, shift-wise and daily consumption of fuel and electricity.
