Glushkov Institute of Cybernetics of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine popup.description2 Objective - To investigate the relationship between more than 400 individual and general ECG parameters and demographic and economic indicators of communities and districts and provide a forecast of mortality and morbidity due to cardiovascular and other diseases based on the analysis of mass cardiac screening in Khmelnytsky region of Ukraine (22 thousand persons). As a result of statistical analysis, previously unknown links between individual and generalized ECG parameters have been revealed, 221 demographic and economic indicators of 18 districts of said region. By means of multidimensional statistical analysis, a regression model was built, which allows to assess the relationship between the socio-economic environment and ECG and HRV indicators. The number of retirees, annual income, and people's access to housing were found to be the most closely related socioeconomic indicators to ECG and HRV. In general, the developed methodology is promising for both research and practical application. Potential consumers include cardiology, pulmonology, endocrinology, surgery, occupational medicine and sports, as well as health care management bodies and public health centers. As a result of the work, 1 abstract of the report was published at the European Congress of Cardiology, a section of the monograph was submitted to the Elsevier publishing house, and 2 patent applications were filled.
