The mechanisms of distribution of responsibility for imbalances within such BGs are investigated and the approach to reduction of cost of an error of the forecast of already existing BG by calculation of correction factors to forecast schedules is developed. The conducted researches allowed to reveal the peculiarities of the work of BG producers with RES and to develop practical recommendations for reducing the cost of errors in the forecast of electricity supply from RES. The peculiarities of the functioning of energy storage systems (ESS) in terms of providing services to support the operational security of the IPS of Ukraine have been studied. The components of the economic effect from the use of ESS are highlighted, which take into account the peculiarities of the structure of the electricity market of Ukraine and pricing in its segments. Mathematical models for estimating the components of the economic effect have been developed, which are the basis of methods for estimating the economic effect of the provision of certain types of services for modes regulation of IPS of Ukraine. A unified methodology for assessing the economic effect of the use of ESSs for the provision of various services for the modes regulation of IPS of Ukraine has been developed. The method is applied in experimental researches of modern prospects of use of ESS both in the part of regulation of modes of IPS of Ukraine, and in the conditions of their direct participation in segments of the electricity market of Ukraine.The economic prospects of using the ESS for providing the frequency control services in power systems for Transmission System Operator, as well as for balancing electricity in the balancing market segment are noted.  Product Description popup.authors Blinov Igor V.
