Analyzed the current normative legal act on labor protection in the field of safety in mining operations in coal mines, namely, Rules for safety in coal mines. European and international legislation on safety mining operations in mines is analyzed. Recommendations are given for the revision and development of a draft order "On Approval (Introduction of Amendments to) Safety Rules in Coal Mines". Recommendations for harmonization of Safety rules in coal mines with European and international legislation are given. A draft order of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine "On approval of Safety rules in coal mines" has been developed. Implementation of the results of the work performed will improve the regulation of relations arising during mining operations in coal mines, will increase the level of safety mining operations in coal mines and create appropriate, safe working conditions in the relevant field. The results of research work are intended for use in the work of the State Labor and business entities.
