The object of research is the waste of uranium mining enterprises of the sodium-uranium (albitite) formation from the Smolinskaya, Novokonstantinovskaya, Ingulskaya mines; waste from uranium processing enterprises of the Pridneprovsky chemical plant, the Eastern Mining and Processing Plant. The purpose of the first stage (2021): to study (characterize) the state of storage and storage facilities for waste from the uranium industry and the environment in the zone of their impact. Analyzed and systematized data on the method of storage, storage conditions, properties and composition of waste, their impact on the environment. Their material composition, mineral forms of valuable components, distribution of elements and minerals in different waste fractions have been studied. The physical and chemical conditions of tailings and wastes are estimated. The migratory abilities of elements are analyzed using geochemical methods. Compiled an interim scientific report. The work has scientific-theoretical and practical significance.
