Numerous research show that in Ukraine the temperature will continue to rise, the amount of precipitation and water resources will change. There is already a concept of climate refugees as related to the species of animals. The species unable to migrate or adapt, are likely to disappear from the face of the Earth. Scientists believe that due to the climate crisis and human activities over the past half century, the number of vertebrate populations on Earth has decreased by 68%. That is why there is an urgent need to assess the state of invertebrates’ settlements in Ukraine in the context of climate changes and anthropogenic transformation of their natural habitats. Object of the research: freshwater mollusks and invertebrates of the Ukrainian fauna. The aim of the research: to investigate the impact of the climate changes and anthropogenic pressing upon the density, settlement and ecology of freshwater mollusks and invertebrates of Ukraine. Scientific novelty: information on the distribution, fauna, ecology, current state of most groups of freshwater mollusks and invertebrates of Ukraine in conditions of climate change and anthropic pressure has been expanded, the impact of environmental transformation on morpho-physiological parameters and behavior of freshwater mollusks in Ukraine in normal condition and under trematode invasion has been studied; the qualitative variety of parasites of the Unio has been processed; the species composition and number of heterotrophic Flagella of Central Polissia Region have been studied.
