Definition of the retiscan complex. Results and novelty. According to archival materials, it was determined that the most common complications from the posterior part of the eye in patients with anterior uveitis were inflammatory lesions of the optic nerve, which ranged from 29.7 to 33.4%.In the experimental model of non-infectious uveitis, a strong direct correlation was found between the degree of inflammation of the uveal tract and changes in the temperature of the eye surface in the projection of the ciliary body (r = 0.73, r = 0.68), which may be a measure of activityinflammatory process.Experimental anterior noninfectious uveitis, which developed at intraocular high pressure, is more severe than anterior uveitis with normotension, as evidenced by a 44-fold increase in protein levels and the presence of leukocytes in the anterior chamber of the eye of experimental animals. At a neuritis of an optic nerve and a neuroretinitis the neurotrophic factor was increased by 43%, at hypostasis of a macula - by 32%, at a post-inflammatory macular degeneration – by 56% in comparison with norm.A strong direct correlation was found between the indicators of neurotrophic factor of the brain in peripheral blood serum and the thickness of peripapillary fibers and fovea in optic neuritis, neuroretinitis and macular edema (r = 0.73, r = 0.68) and inverse in degeneration (r = - 0.6) in patients with anterior uveitis. The experiment and clinic determined the effectiveness of the neuroprotective action of citicoline in preventing the development of dystrophic changes of the retina and optic nerve in endogenous anterior uveitis and developed recommendations for its use.
