The use of "smart home" technology makes it possible to improve the comfort level of the home and significantly save energy. According to various sources, energy savings can reach 40 - 50 percent. One of the basic components of the "smart home" system is a telecommunications network, the main task of which is data transmission and pre-processing of data blocks. On the basis of one telecommunication network it is possible to create several information networks, through which the subsystems of the "smart home" are combined into a single system. The concept of "smart home", or "smart home", is currently controversial. In general, this concept should be understood as living space, which is a system that offers a completely new approach to the organization of life support of the building. In such a system, due to a set of software and hardware integrated into the telecommunications network, the efficiency of operation and reliability of management of all subsystems and actuators is significantly increased.
