A package of accompanying documents has been developed for initiating and organizing working meetings with producers and consumers of plastic products. Models of analytical tables for estimating the production potential of existing plastic production enterprises in Ukraine and the regions of the Western region and questionnaires for surveying the technological potential of plastic producers in primary forms and manufacturers of plastic products (plastic containers) have been developed. Scientific and technical information was processed and a patent search was conducted for technological processes of eco-packaging production based on biodegradable polymers. Collection and analysis of information on the cost of plastic, in particular, for the manufacture of different types of containers - bottles of different capacity, the cost of blanks and its processing, determining the volume of production of different types of containers for bottling water in Lviv region. The material and technical base for the creation of the Ecotar Innovation Center has been prepared on the basis of cooperation between the institutes of education and science, government agencies, and the public with the real sector of the economy. A draft Regulation on the establishment of the Laboratory of Biodegradable Polymer Technologies, which is a structural unit of the Center at Lviv Polytechnic National University, has been prepared. The SJ30 / 30 extrusion line (Borun Machinery, China), designed for granulation of polymers and composites based on them, was purchased. Components of the extrusion line: extruder, die, cooling bath, crusher for pellets, traction device. A SHR-10A mixer (JIANGSU XINDA TECH LIMITED, China) for mixing bulk and viscous polymer products has been purchased.
