They can significantly improve the energy, technological and economic characteristics of arc steelmaking DC furnaces and improve sanitary and hygienic working conditions of staff. For the first time, ukrainian technology has been scientifically substantiated and recommendations have been developed for the organization of production of promising high-strength AHSS steels, including those resistant to overheating during welding. Draft technological instructions for melting and ESR of new steels have been developed, and recommendations for their implementation in production at domestic plants have been issued.
