The purpose of the study: to develop and scientifically substantiate the content and technology of teaching children with hearing impairments in the context of educational reform. Research methods: analysis of philosophical, psychological and pedagogical, methodological literature, study and generalization of pedagogical experience, comparative analysis. The results of the study and their novelty: a theoretical analysis of the problem of early intervention and preschool education of children with hearing impairments; identified current issues of providing comprehensive support to children of early and preschool age with hearing impairments; generalized practical experience of organizing preschool education for deaf and hard of hearing children in Ukraine and abroad; developed and substantiated the modern content and technologies of teaching children of early and preschool age with hearing impairments; scientific and theoretical approaches to improving the system of preschool education of children with hearing impairments are identified.
