Thus, the role of mitochondrial nicotinic acetylcholine receptors in the regulation of cell survival under neuroinflammatory conditions was identified. It was found that cancer cells with overexpression of Ruk/CIN85 exhibited enhanced viability and developed resistance to anticancer drugs.
