Thus, the role of mitochondrial nicotinic acetylcholine receptors in the regulation of cell survival under neuroinflammatory conditions was identified. It was found that cancer cells with overexpression of Ruk/CIN85 exhibited enhanced viability and developed resistance to anticancer drugs. The importance of the IRE1 signaling protein in the expression of mitochondrial nuclear genes controlling the proliferation and apoptosis processes was demonstrated. Recombinant tuberculosis and diphtheria proteins were proposed to use in the development of oral vaccines. A range of diagnostic approaches was developed to analyze the status of the blood coagulation system. The unique role of angiostatins in limiting angiogenesis in tissue reparation was studied. Molecular effectors that modulate biological processes in cells were isolated, in particular calix[4]arenes as inhibitors of cation-transporting enzyme systems, and N-stearoylethanolamin, as an anti-inflammatory agent of broad action.
