The purpose research is to develop the advanced technologies for the creation and automated deposition by robotics with computerized quality control of functional reinforced sprayed coatings and determine their physical, mechanical and operational properties. Research methods and equipment, theoretical and practical results:Theoretical analysis of scientific and technical information on the modern state and prospects of development of methods of thermal spray technology as a result of which the possibility of further improving their physical, mechanical and operational properties by equipment modernization, developing new compositions, influencing the formation and subsequent processing of coatings. The modernization of the electric arc spraying gun was carried out, which allowed to increase the coefficient of material utilization during spraying and the complex of properties of metal-ceramic with Sv-08G2S-Al2O3 and Sv-08G2S-ZrO2, metal-polymer: Sv-08G2S-P-EP-219 and SvAMg 5-P-EP-219 and cermet coatings with 65G-TiC and 65G-Cr2C3. A pulsed power supply has been developed for the application of electric pulses to high-temperature heterophase jet during the coatings formation, which leads to grinding and acceleration of sprayed particles and provides a finer and denser microstructure of the coating with increased physical and mechanical and operational properties. Microstructure images were obtained using a Delta Optical HDCE-20C digital camera equipped with Scope Image 9.0 image processing software, an MMU-3 optical metallographic microscope, and a REMMA-102-02 scanning electron microscope-analyzer.
