Karazin Kharkiv National University popup.description2  The object of the research is samples of multicomponent high-entropic titanium-based alloys with additives of transition metals and aluminum. The microhardness and hardness of the samples provided by the customer at indentation with loads from 10 g to 500 g were investigated. Areas for indentation were selected visually by metallographic images on the whole surface of the samples. Hardness values were averaged by 5 - 10 separate measurements of indentation indentations. For all types of samples graphical dependences of indices of microhardness on indenter load are plotted. Graphs confirm typical character of change of microhardness: essential decrease of hardness with increase in loading on an indenter.
