The basic conceptual provisions on professional training and criteria for the effectiveness of professional training of future specialists in physical education and sports in higher educational institutions with the use of information technology are substantiated. The process of realization of the content of professional training, forms and methods of application of information technologies in professional training, organization of continuous quality control of professional training, technology of development of educational and methodical maintenance, technology of development and introduction of information-technological support of future specialists of physical education and sports on application of information technologies are presented.
