Improving the reliability, energy, economic and environmental efficiency of the main and auxiliary power plants provides an opportunity to significantly improve the technical level and is the main direction to ensure national security and defense of Ukraine and the competitiveness of domestic armored vehicles. The scientific novelty of the study is the development of scientific and technical solutions to comprehensively improve the reliability, power and efficiency of armored vehicles. The results and issues of research indicate the feasibility and necessity and possibility of improving the reliability, capacity and efficiency of the main and auxiliary power plants, providing promising indicators and characteristics of domestic armored vehicles. The performed developments correspond to the world level, help to increase the export potential of armored vehicles, have significant socio-economic significance, are aimed at further use in practice, both in creating new models of armored vehicles and in other fields of mechanical engineering.
