It is shown that the electric field affects the stochastic diffusion of transition ions mainly due to the modification of the separatrix shape between locally trapped and locally transitioning particles, and its effect on the diffusion coefficient is relatively insignificant. A computer program has been developed to investigate the recovery of the electron temperature in the central part of the plasma after the collapse of sawtooth oscillations in recent JET tokamak discharges. The increase in the power of the deuterium-tritium nuclear fusion reaction, which is achieved due to the populations of superthermal ions when using ion-cyclotron resonant heating and injection of neutral jets to heat the plasma, has been studied. It was found that there are fast magnetic-sound modes with frequencies above the ion-cyclotron, which have a global radial structure and amplitude, the maximum in the central region of the plasma. The increase in energy (ratio of energy output to energy expended) of the deuterium-tritium nuclear fusion reaction in the plasma-jet system, where the ion jet is produced by injection of neutral atoms accelerated by ion-cyclotron resonant heating, has been studied.
