Purpose: to adapt the content of the exposition of the Linguistic Educational Museum to the conditions of modern information space and the current state of world linguistic research, increase the museum's presence in the Ukrainian and world media space, increase educational value and technical level of the exposition. Research methods: as part of the system-operational methodological approach used a number of known methods: descriptive, critical, comparative, comparative-typological, linguistic-statistical, genetic, causal, method direct components and dependency trees, methods of etymological, component and pragmatic analysis, textual analysis, linguistic and cultural interpretation, quantitative and qualitative analysis, etc. The paper examines: the experience of applying the concept of metatheory of linguistics developed by KM Tishchenko in philology and other sciences; the specifics of adaptation for undergraduate students difficult to perceive topics in linguistics, in particular the theory of linguistic signs; expansion of the exposition of the Linguistic Educational Museum at the expense of the works of KM Tishchenko in branches of toponymy, namely the topography of the Golden Horde, as well as toponyms of Syrian origin during the Caliphate; expansion of the exposition due to the new exhibit, which illustrates a detailed presentation of the concept of partial translation equivalents with differences separately for each of the five components of word meaning; an analysis of changes in the demographic and economic power of languages ​​that have occurred in recent times and encourage changes in the existing relevant exhibits of the museum.  Product Description popup.authors Bocharnikova Anna M.
