Replicons of this vector have been shown to retain the ability to replicate and move from cell to cell in the leaves of Spirodela polyrhiza, leading to the accumulation of significant amounts (> 1 mg / g) of recombinant protein. The expression efficiency demonstrated in our paper ranks duckweed as one of the most efficient host organisms for plant-based rapid expression systems, which also has the added benefit of easy scaling and controlled cultivation. In the study of the synthesis of biologically active substances in medicinal plants, it was shown that aseptic plants of two species of St. John's wort (H. pulchrum and H.tomentosum) contain the same amount of hypericins as the model species of St. John's wort, which confirms that they can be used as a source biomass to obtain these biologically active compounds. It was found that pre-sowing irradiation of chamomile seeds leads to a dose-dependent increase in the yield of essential oils in 2-2.5 times and found that pre-sowing irradiation of dry seeds observed massive DNA damage in plants in the flowering phase. The results also indicate a link between delayed cell DNA damage and the stimulation of protective responses and the development of target metabolites in drug raw materials that have not been directly exposed to radiation. The method of extracting essential oil from chamomile inflorescences and chamazulene as the main plant antibiotic of these inflorescences was developed. We also showed the possibility of obtaining silver nanoparticles by "green" synthesis using extracts from "bearded" roots of plants of the genus Artemisia and the possibility of influencing their characteristics by using wormwood of two different species.
