Purpose: to reconstruct the natural conditions of human habitats in Ukraine for different time slices of the Quaternary period, including short-period, and to determine the impact of their changes in space and time on changes in material cultures, adaptation of ancient societies and ethnic groups. Research methods: stratigraphic, geochronological, geomorphological, lithological, petrographic, geochemical, petro magnetic, paleomagnetic, paleopedological, in particular micromorphological, palynological, anthracological, paleoethnobotanical, theriological and microteriological, archeozoological, kiliolachetic, palecological, qualitative, qualitative creation of a geoinformation database. The latest concept of multidisciplinary has been developed geoarchaeological research in the landscape-different habitats of ancient man; developed a structure and created an interactive database of geoarchaeological monuments of Ukraine (over 550 objects); according to the complex of branch paleoecological methods, and according to paleoclimatic and paleobiom modeling, the natural conditions of human habitats are reconstructed past for more than 50 time slices, in particular a series of more than 30 paleoecological maps; regularities of influence of changes of natural conditions of Pleistocene and Holocene in space and time on development of material cultures; established global manifestations and local differences in the impact of natural conditions on human communities in landscape-different regions of Ukraine; regularities of anthropogenic influence on various components of landscapes from the Early Paleolithic to the Early Iron Age are revealed.  Product Description popup.authors Avdeyenko Yulia L.
