The analysis of national peculiarities of implementation of CALS-concept in practice of life cycle management of samples of armaments and military equipment of different countries is carried out. The main focus was on the countries of the Baltic-Black Sea region, as Ukraine's closest natural partners to ensure stability and security. It is shown that Ukraine and the Czech Republic are leaders in the region in the implementation of integrated logistical support of life cycles of weapons and military equipment, as well as other high-tech machine-building products. It is shown that one of the most important components of the implementation of the CALS-concept is the process of creating, storing, sharing and working with data. The influence of open data infrastructure development on the competitiveness of the industrial region is studied on the example of Kharkiv . The NATO CALS data model for the Handbook is considered as the main guiding document of NATO on the implementation of the CALS concept, as well as other supporting sources. In conclusion, the advantages of using the NATO CALS data model in high-tech engineering data management are presented, which will allow the Baltic and Black Sea countries to integrate more into Euro-Atlantic structures and revive integration processes in high-tech industries. Obstacles to the implementation of the CALS concept are reduced to political will and extremely low staffing in the field of CALS. These problems can be solved by increasing publishing activity in the field of research to increase the interest of the scientific community, business management and the wider community in the region to the CALS concept.
