The purpose of the research is to reveal the methodology, theory and pedagogical technologies of educating the spiritual security of students. Research methods: theoretical: analysis, synthesis of scientific sources for comparison, comparison of different views on the researched problem, definition of categorical conceptual apparatus; method of understanding; method of reflection of knowledge about the spiritual security of students; method of modeling the spiritual security of student youth, case-study method, presented in the form of videos, stories, parables; the method of subjectivization of spiritual security, the impact of which is measured by the degree to which students understand its essence and take into account the need for its education; method of revaluation of the values and senses orientations; activity method; empirical: pedagogical observation, questionnaires, interviews, surveys; psychological testing; analysis of products of creative activity of students, methods of expert assessments, psychological and pedagogical diagnostics and self-diagnostics to identify students’ understanding of the essence of spiritual security; axiology-oriented methods; dialogue. As a result of the research, factors influencing students’ spiritual security in the present conditions are determined; students’ spiritual security threats are characterized and main ways to overcome them are identified; methodological analysis of the problem of educating students’ spiritual security; the theoretical bases of its education are defined; structural and functional model of students’ spiritual security is developed; target program of students’ spiritual security education is developed and introduced in the University educational process; organizational and methodical system, specific pedagogical technologies of students’ spiritual security education are developed.
