The study of structural-phase transformations in the process of mechanochemical synthesis and determination of conditions for obtaining composite powders of selected compositions from mechanical mixtures; study of physicochemical processes occurring in the formation of composite coatings obtained by gas-thermal (plasma-arc, supersonic air-gas plasma, detonation) spraying of powders TiAl-B4C, BN, SiC, Si3N4 and magnetron application of TiAlMoN/Si3N4 and TiAlSiN, study of the functional properties of the developed coatings. Practical use of the developed TiAl-coatings on products of the automobile and aviation industry, shut-off valves will allow to increase the level of working temperatures, reliability and durability of their operation.
