The object of research is the financial policy of Ukraine in the field of foreign economic activity. The subject of the study is a set of theoretical and practical principles of implementation of financial policy of Ukraine in the field of foreign economic activity. Research methods. The general scientific methods were used in the work, such as: statistical and comparison method, method of analysis and synthesis, methods of logical generalization, system-functional and system-structural method. The main scientific result of the study is the study of theoretical foundations and development of practical recommendations for improving the effectiveness of financial policy of Ukraine in the field of foreign economic activity. In order to fully use the fiscal potential of taxation of foreign economic transactions, stimulating the export of high value-added products is considered appropriate: setting export duties on raw materials (grain, metal) with the simultaneous introduction of state support for raw materials processing and finished products (soft loans); further improvement of transfer pricing legislation. The developed approaches and the obtained results can serve as a theoretical, methodological and practical basis for improving the effectiveness of Ukraine's financial policy in the field of foreign economic activity. The use of research results by business entities will promote the intensification of their foreign economic activity, will allow for sound planning of foreign economic operations in view of the identified trends in financial policy of Ukraine in the field of foreign economic activity.
