The purpose of the work is the creation of universal methods and tools for numerical prediction of the stress-strain and limit state of large-sized welded critical structures, their performance and residual life. The idea of ​​research is to develop numerical and numerical-experimental methods for assessing the strength and performance of large-sized welded critical structures based on modern concepts of complex interrelated physical processes that determine the resistance of a material to various types of destruction. Research methods - mathematical modeling and computer simulation of the kinetics of temperature fields, stresses, deformations, subcritical damage, phase state of the metal of typical large-sized structural elements during their installation and subsequent operation. Within the framework of scientific and research work, mathematical models and high-performance computer programs were developed for predicting the kinetics of temperature fields and the stress-strain, damaged and structural states of typical large-sized structures. Implemented methods for assessing the bearing capacity and resource of structural elements, the criteria for their limiting state to ensure quality, reliability and performance. Practical recommendations are formulated for predicting the boundary state of large-sized launch vehicles with a wafer wall structure.
