The object of research is the components of space monitoring systems of the Earth's surface, which are designed to archive and disseminate remote sensing data of the Earth. The purpose of the work is to develop the concept of building a Unified catalog of remote sensing data of the Earth and to determine the requirements for its integration into GEOSS. Currently in Ukraine, space monitoring data of the Earth's surface and the environment, received by Ukrainian data receiving stations (SPI) from Ukrainian and foreign remote sensing satellites, or provided by the European Space Agency are stored in various archiving systems operated by the National Control and Testing Center. spacecraft (NTSUVKZ). The following remote sensing data archiving systems are included in the NCUVKZ: “Remote sensing data archive” in CPOSI and KNP, ACR “Copernicus”, “Remote sensing geoportal”. Distributed remote sensing data storage system, taking into account the peculiarities of data access for each component of this system, does not ensure the efficiency of finding the necessary information to a wide range of users, which reduces the effectiveness of space monitoring data in public administration. A promising way to solve this problem is to create a single catalog of remote sensing data of the Earth with its subsequent integration into the Global Earth Observation System (GEOSS). This report considers the concept of building a single remote sensing data catalog based on the creation of an effective system for searching space monitoring information of the Earth in a network of distributed archives.
